HAYELI

A fashion brand that was born from art.

As a New York-born urban fashion brand, Hayeli is redefining contemporary style with silhouettes, understated elegance, and sophistication, reminding us that streetwear can also be an ode to dynamism, comfort, and originality.

With the new collection MULTIPLE this brand is exploring spaces, reflections, and patterns, creating pieces that stand out and become imposing with every second they are seen.

Editor's thought:
Why MULTIPLE?

By examining every detail, understanding the dynamics of the designs and the presentation, MULTIPLE, from my point of view, refers to the diversity of perspectives when observing the pieces, because fashion is art and must be understood. MULTIPLE refers to perspectives, to personal and individual conceptions, but above all, I am sure that MULTIPLE refers to the great variety of uses, combinations, and self-styling by the consumer.

The path:
What is it about Hayeli that warrants an article about her (fashion brand)?

A solid proposal and a unique style concept that allow for evolution and adaptation to industry changes. It has a good image, which will allow it to adapt and maintain its position, and above all, good taste.

Hayeli is still positioning itself, as appearing at Paris Fashion Week is a big step toward globalization, and from this desk where I am writing the article, I am expecting a fierce positioning.

Fashion conclusion:

Following its debut at Paris Fashion Week, Hayeli is a must-have and should be in your wardrobe if your creative, fashion-forward side tells you that you need to stand out wherever you go. And as an editor at a New York magazine, I can't wait to see this and more incredible collections in upcoming issues.

A graduate of CEDIM (Centro de Estudios Superiores de Diseño de Monterrey) with a degree in Fashion Design and Marketing, Maldonado began his career in the early 2000s as a stylist for advertising campaigns and catalogs, collaborating with renowned photographer Elías Terrazas. This formative period shaped his aesthetic sensibility and laid the foundation for a career that now spans more than two decades.

In 2005, he relocated to Barcelona, where he earned a master’s degree in Styling, Image, and Communication from EATM / ESDI (Escuela Superior de Diseño). Further refining his multidisciplinary approach, Maldonado completed advanced studies in Window Dressing and Visual Merchandising at the Catalan Institute of Fashion (ICM), strengthening his expertise in visual strategy and brand presentation. In 2015, he moved to Berlin, where he launched his independent practice, collaborating with brands, designers, and creatives across industries to develop strategic image and communication solutions.
