Advin’s time at the Defense Information School was a foundational period, significantly shaping his visual storytelling capabilities. He trained there as a combat camera specialist for the U.S. Army, a role that took him to Iraq. On the frontlines, he was tasked with documenting powerful, unscripted moments. This intense environment wasn't just about capturing images; it was a unique experience that profoundly sharpened his visual instinct and deepened his understanding of storytelling under immense pressure. This hands-on, high-stakes training provided an invaluable and distinctive background for his later ventures in the fashion and media industries, where the ability to convey a compelling narrative visually is paramount.

He later graduated from the with a bachelor’s degree in Advertising from The Art Institute, Advin began his creative journey crafting brand narratives with clarity and edge.

Advin’s creative evolution continued with a Digital Marketing certification from NYU, further expanding his strategic approach to audience, influence, and visual identity in the digital space. But it is in fashion where all of these disciplines meet — where Advin’s signature vision truly comes alive.

His design studies at the New York School of Interior Design, where he specialized in high-end residential and hospitality environments for A-list clients, inform his refined aesthetic sensibility. With an ability to see style as space, atmosphere, and expression, Advin transitioned naturally into the world of fashion direction and editorial storytelling.

Today, he is a celebrated Creative Director, model, and actor with a career that spans luxury campaigns, cultural publications, and top-tier advertising. His work is cinematic yet grounded, daring yet deliberate — always driven by a commitment to authenticity, identity, and innovation.

His runway résumé reads like a passport of prestige: from New York Fashion Week to Mercedes Benz Fashion Week El Salvador and Costa Rica Fashion Week, Reynaldo crafts silhouettes that speak both heritage and high-fashion fluency. At just 12, he was crowned "New Millennium Fashion Designer." Now, with accolades such as the 2023 New York Fashion Award for Best Ready to Wear International and the Premio Paoli 2025 International Designer of the Year, his trajectory remains nothing short of iconic.

But Reynaldo is more than couture — he is culture. A respected voice in media, he’s shaped narratives as Fashion Editor for Miradas PR/USA, penned style philosophy in the "Alter Ego" column for Ego Moda, and now lends his editorial brilliance to Lifestyle Plus Magazine New York.

A champion of education and community, Reynaldo has been honored by the Puerto Rico House of Representatives and Senate for his philanthropic impact and dedication to the arts.
